Outbound agency
An outbound agency for large, committee-bought deals
Lead Line Partners runs outbound for companies that sell large engagements to buying committees. We research each account first, and a person approves every send. It suits teams that want a short list of well-researched accounts. If you want volume at the lowest cost per meeting, a cold email agency built for volume fits better.

Trellis · Included with every engagement
Trellis shows you the work.
Our own workspace, and every engagement runs in it. Our team does the finding and the writing. You decide in Trellis, and every reply lands there.

What the engagement includes
Each item below is a stage of our method. The detail lives on the methodology page.
Account research
We study your prospects' existing customers first, then pick the accounts, with a reason and a tier for each.
Signals built for your motion
Buying signals differ for every motion, so we build the list for yours and never run a standard set.
Contact data and employment checks
Contact data runs through several sources in a set order, chosen for each task. Before anything is drafted or sent, we check that each person still works there.
Drafts a person approves
Every claim in a draft is labeled verified, inferred or open before review. Nothing sends until a person has read the drafts and signed off the exact list.
Sequencing
Email, LinkedIn and call steps run in one sequence, under your own sellers' names, with several of your sellers working one committee.
Deliverability
Deliverability is managed from day one. Stale data bounces, and bounces cost a domain its reputation.
Reply handling
A reply pauses that person for every seller, and the conversation goes to your seller.
How it runs
How it runs
Each engagement runs in Trellis. We propose accounts with the reason and dated signals behind each. You approve, hold or decline, and a decline carries a reason we read before the next search. Nothing sends until your executive or our team approves, and launch asks for that yes twice. We still talk with you regularly.

What stops a send
We think a bad send at this deal size can reach a small group of people who talk to each other. So every send has an owner and a rule for stopping it.
- 01A missing approval. Nothing sends until your executive or our team says yes, and launch asks twice.
- 02A person who left the company. The check runs before anything is drafted or sent.
- 03A reply. It pauses that person for every seller and every channel, until a person restarts them.
- 04A call that connects. A no-answer or voicemail stops nothing.
- 05An unsubscribe or a bounced address. Both are final, and only an operator can reverse them.
- 06A do-not-contact entry. It beats every approval, your executive's included.
Quality
Why the work holds up
Our team has sold into Apple, Microsoft and Starbucks, and together we carry 50+ years of enterprise sales experience. Jeff Scott, Partner, Volga Partners: “The approach is strategic before tactical. There’s an analytical rigor to how they think about pipeline that reminds me of chess, not checkers.”
The alternatives
Compared with the alternatives
Three ways to buy outbound, and where each one fits better than we do.
A cold email agency or outsourced SDR firm built for volume
Who it suitsA team that wants send volume and booked appointments, measures success by cost per meeting, and has sellers who can qualify what comes in. For that goal it can be the right choice.
The catchA 2026 survey of 300 software and AI companies (Growth Unhinged) rated cold outreach OK to poor for return above $50K annual contract value.
An AI SDR tool
Who it suitsA team that wants low-cost sends at scale, has the operations time to run it and a validated ICP, and will review the output itself.
The catchIn our view, automated sequencing can send without anyone deciding the account is worth a send. The same survey rates agentic campaigns very poor for return above $50K annual contract value.
An in-house hire
Who it suitsA company where outbound is a permanent function and someone on staff can direct the work. Building is faster to iterate once the hire knows your motion.
The catchSalary comes with a tool budget, and the hire needs ramp time before the first campaign is live.
Cost
What it costs, and how to compare quotes
Six drivers set the price on any quote: channel scope, tool-stack tier, seniority, geography, retainer or project structure, and whether strategy is bundled in. Our engagement is a monthly retainer with a six-month minimum, and pricing is scoped per engagement. To compare two quotes, ask what is billed separately, who owns the systems at exit, and how reporting works. Then ask each vendor for cost per meeting over recent months on a comparable account.
Published ranges
2026 pricing surveys put GTM engineering retainers at $1,000 to $33,000 a month, with a median agency fee of $5,000 to $8,000.
