Tools we use

The stack we build and run GTM on.

The tools we run for clients, and the ones we'd pick today. Every tool marked “In our stack” is one we actually operate. Some links pay us a commission. That never changes what we list, and we tell you which ones.

How we use them

A closer look at the stack.

SmartLead logo

SmartLead

Outreach & Sending

SmartLead is where client campaigns actually send. We run it at the account root, each client as a white-label sub-account under clients.leadlinepartners.co, so their prospects never see us. Sequences, inbox rotation, warmup, reply routing. We drive it from the command line day to day and fall back to the API when something custom is needed. Deliverability lives or dies here, so it gets watched closely: bounce rates, open patterns across days, reply sentiment over reply count.

Clay logo

Clay

Data & Enrichment

Clay is the enrichment layer. We build wide target lists, then run them through waterfalls that stack providers so coverage stays high and cost stays reasonable, with FullEnrich handling the email step. Qualification happens here too. Claude scores and personalizes on pre-filtered subsets of a few hundred rows, never a raw list of thousands. Qualified prospects post back and move to SmartLead. We're on the legacy Explorer plan, which still beats the newer two-currency pricing at our volume.

Attio

CRM & Pipeline Ops

Attio is the system of record for LLP's own pipeline, not our clients'. Campaign signals from SmartLead flow in automatically: who replied, what stage a deal sits at, which lead maps to which company. We keep it strictly isolated. Only LLP's root-level prospecting ever touches this workspace, never a client's data. Clients who want their own CRM get their own, on their keys. Attio's flexible data model is why it fits a GTM engineering workflow better than a rigid legacy CRM.

Trellis logo

Trellis

CRM & Pipeline Ops

Trellis is ours. We built it because the off-the-shelf sales ops tools didn't fit how GTM engineering actually runs. It handles call lists and dialer attribution, a master inbox that pulls conversations together, disposition tracking, and client billing reconciliation. Running our own product means we ship the exact workflow we need instead of bending to someone else's. It also keeps us honest about what a modern GTM system should feel like.

Claude Code

AI & Intelligence

Claude Code is the core of how we operate. It's the reasoning layer across the whole stack: scoring prospects, personalizing at the row level, running deep account research, drafting outreach, and building the internal tools that connect Clay, SmartLead, and the rest. When a campaign needs custom logic, an enrichment step, or a one-off scraper, this is where it gets written. Most of what makes our 'more with less' approach work runs through here. (Including this site.)

How we classify

The criteria behind every badge on this site

Every tool here carries labels: a tier, best-for chips, an ease rating. Labels are cheap. So here is exactly what each one means and what a tool has to do to earn it.

Tiers
In our stack
We run it on live client work today. Anything with this badge has a "How we run it" section written from actual use, not a trial.
Recommended
We evaluated it and would point a client to it in the right situation, but it isn't part of our daily stack. No hands-on usage claims appear on these pages.
Previously used
We ran it, then migrated away. The page says why.
Ease of use

Ease is judged for the majority buyer of the tool, and always ships with a one-line reason specific to that tool.

Easy
Self-serve. Productive in an afternoon.
Medium
Real configuration. Expect about a week of iteration before it earns its keep.
Hard
Needs an operator or engineering discipline. We say so plainly, because pretending a hard tool is easy helps nobody.
Best-for chips

Best-for chips are capped at two per tool. A tool tagged for everyone is a classification failure, so most carry one.

Agencies
Repeatable across clients: workspaces or sub-accounts for client isolation, and pricing that does not punish usage or client count. Flat or per-seat beats usage-metered.
SMB
Runnable without a dedicated ops person. Fast time to value, simple and forgiving pricing. SMB problems are different problems, not smaller enterprise ones.
Enterprise
Admin controls, permissions and SSO, security review readiness, team scale. Enterprise ops teams absorb complexity, so tech-heavy is acceptable here.
AI-native
Built for builder-first teams that prefer API-first, composable, scriptable tools. Docs and API quality matter more than UI polish. Correlates with the Agent-ready badge by design.
B2B SaaS
An in-house GTM team building its own motion: native CRM integrations, product-data hooks, per-seat pricing works fine.
Agent-ready

Agent-ready means the tool can be driven headlessly, through an API, CLI, MCP server, or webhooks, so a coding agent can operate it without a human clicking through a UI. It is the backbone of a code-run GTM system. The qualifying subset, assembled as a system: The Codified Stack.

No ratings, no medals

You will not find a 4.7 out of 5 here. Scores imply a measurement methodology nobody publishes. We give you a verdict in sentences you can disagree with instead.

Dated reviews

Every page shows when it was last reviewed. Pricing is verified against the vendor’s own pricing page as of that date, and corrected when we or readers catch drift.

Paid links are labeled

Some links pay us a commission. That never changes what we list or what the verdict says, and each paid link is disclosed right where it appears.
