Cloud-based business phone system with call center, CRM integrations, and AI call features.
RecommendedLast reviewed July 11, 2026
Aircall is a cloud phone system built for teams that already live inside a CRM, used by over 23,000 companies. It hands out real phone numbers, runs call center basics like IVR and call recording, and syncs the whole thing into Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zendesk, and 250-plus other tools. The softphone runs on desktop, Android, and iOS. No extra hardware required.
The AI layer sits on top, not baked in. Call summaries, transcription, and sentiment scoring come from a separate add-on, and the autonomous voice and messaging agents run on metered usage once their free allowance runs out. Worldwide calling and single sign-on only show up once you're buying at scale. Smaller teams get a real phone system, not a full contact center.

Aircall's list prices look approachable ($30-$50/license/month annually) but the real floor is $90-$150/month because both Essentials and Professional carry a 3-license minimum. AI features cost extra on top: AI Assist is $9/license/month, AI Assist Pro is $49/license/month, and both plans only bundle base AI Assist starting at Professional. The AI Voice Agent and AI Messaging Agent are metered past their free minutes/conversations (pay-as-you-go from $0.39-$0.49/minute or $0.29-$0.35/conversation, cheaper via prepaid bundles). Monthly (non-annual) billing costs more per license than the annual rate shown. Custom tier, needed for unlimited worldwide calling and SSO, requires 25 licenses minimum and is quote-only.
Pick Close instead if you want calling, email, and SMS built into one CRM rather than a phone system layered onto a separate CRM.
Pick Nooks instead for high-volume outbound dialing with parallel dialing and built-in call coaching for SDR teams.
Pick Trellis instead if you want the dialer, call lists, and billing unified on live pipeline data in one GTM ops platform.
Essentials starts at $30/license/month billed annually, but there's a 3-license minimum, so the floor is $90/month. Professional runs $50/license/month annually, or $150/month for 3 seats. Monthly (non-annual) billing costs more per license; the site shows annual pricing as a 25% discount over month-to-month.
Every plan includes 50 free AI Voice Agent minutes per account per month plus 100 bonus minutes at signup. Beyond that, pay-as-you-go runs $0.49/minute up to 2,500 minutes and $0.39/minute after, or prepaid bundles like 2,500 minutes for $725 (as low as $0.19/minute at 10,000+ minutes, custom-quoted).
AI Assist ($9/license/month) adds call summaries, sentiment analysis, action items, and CRM logging. AI Assist Pro ($49/license/month) layers on live transcription, real-time coaching prompts, custom playbooks, and automated call scoring with custom questions. Professional and Custom plans include base AI Assist features; Pro is an added cost either way.
The 3-license minimum and per-license integrations make it workable for a small team, and setup with a CRM can be same-day. But features like unlimited worldwide calling, SSO, and SLAs sit in the 25-license-minimum Custom tier, so the platform is built to scale into larger support and sales organizations over time.
Each company gets 100 free AI Messaging Agent conversations included. After that, pay-as-you-go is $0.35/conversation, dropping to $0.29 after 1,000 conversations in a period. Prepaid bundles are also available: 1,000 conversations for $250 or 10,000 for $1,500. Standard SMS and WhatsApp carrier rates apply on top.
