AI assistant that joins Zoom/Meet/Teams calls to auto-record, transcribe, summarize, and sync notes to CRM/Slack tools.

Fathom is an AI notetaker that joins your Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams calls, records them, and turns the conversation into a transcript, summary, and list of action items right after it ends. Not a dialer, not a CRM. A newer desktop app captures the call without a visible bot in the room, for teams who'd rather skip having an extra participant on screen. Ask Fathom, its search assistant, lets you query past meetings instead of digging through transcripts by hand.
Notes sync out to Slack, Notion, Asana, Salesforce, and HubSpot without manual copy-paste, and it holds SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, and HIPAA compliance out of the box. But the public API and MCP integration listed on the pricing page isn't documented in depth, so treat headless automation as something to test before you build on it.

The free tier is actually usable long-term: unlimited recordings, transcripts, and summaries with no seat cost, which is why it fits agencies running notes across many client accounts. The forced upgrade is AI action items and a custom bot, which sit behind Premium at $20/month ($16 annually). Team collaboration (shared playlists, keyword alerts) needs the Team plan at $19/user/month and a 2-user minimum. The real cost jump is CRM field sync and coaching scorecards, both locked to Business at $34/user/month ($25 annually). Enterprise features like SSO and dedicated support are contact-sales only, with no listed price.
Pick Fireflies when the team wants deeper custom AI apps and voice-search across a large historical transcript library.
Pick Nooks when the priority is a parallel dialer with live coaching, not a passive note-taker bolted onto Zoom.
It's a real free-forever individual tier: unlimited recordings and transcriptions, AI call summaries, clips, playlists, and search across past calls, with no time limit or recording cap. Upgrading to Premium ($20/month, $16 billed annually) adds advanced summaries, AI action items, a conversational meeting assistant, and a custom meeting bot.
Team ($19/user/month, $15 annually, 2-user minimum) adds global search across a team's calls, shared playlists, comments, folders, and keyword alerts on top of Premium. Business ($34/user/month, $25 annually) is the tier that adds CRM field sync, a deal view, coaching metrics, and AI scorecards, which is what most sales teams actually want.
Yes, it supports all three plus Gmail, and syncs meeting notes to Slack, Asana, Notion, Salesforce, and HubSpot without manual entry. A bot-free capture option was added recently as an alternative to joining calls as a visible participant.
Yes. Both the Team plan ($19/user/month) and Business plan ($34/user/month) require a minimum of 2 users; below that, individuals are on the Free or Premium plans instead.
Fathom's switching program gives Gong customers a free Business plan for the remainder of their existing contract period, letting them move over without paying twice while the old contract runs out.
